Self-Propelled Carts


Self-propelled carts for boats lifting and handling BOAT LIFT, allows the maximum optimization of areas in naval shipyards, ports and marinas; by reducing all maneuvers times to the minimum. All carts are built with a lower engine compartment to reduce the space taken by the machine to the boats’ keels and facilitate its use during all standing operations; the engine compartment is protected by a cover to reduce noises and avoid water penetrations. All BOAT LIFT carts are therefore equipped with a device that allows a progressive acceleration / deceleration, avoiding any dangerous oscillation to the carried hull.

All carts can be produced in the following versions:

  • Multidirectional: the 90° steering of all wheel groups (Patent deposit) allows the side crab steering and allows a further optimization of maneuvering and standing spaces
  • Width expansion from 0 to 800 mm through hydraulics cylinders
  • Length extensions from 0 to 4 meters through hydraulics cylinders

    Road version carts are equipped with an operator’s driving place, conceived pursuant to CE normative, in order to improve operators’ safety in every situation. Furthermore for the yard use this version is also equipped with the remote control.

 

Accessories

Hydraulics lifting cylinders, those adjustable supports where the keel stands , have the swivel head covered with rubber to avoid any damage to the keel itself.

Extensions for sailboats / catamarans to extend the supports length and allow an easier handling of higher hulls boats.

Retractable forks for cradles to handle boats directly on their standings.

System of hydraulic lifting cylinders with cradles forks: an innovative solution, strong and reliable which include in a single system both type of accessories.

Hull support crossbeam: to use as a further support to boats keels. 

Double translation speed

Self-levelling: a system which allows the automatic balance of the cart in the longitudinal and transverse direction, to keep the carried boats in balance.

Electronic weighing system of carried boats with the use of load cells, with displayed weight on the panel-control on-board machine (bow, stern and total weight).
